For example, I was recently working with this particular middle manager, Cathy. One of the things she said to me was, “I like my role but I feel like there’s more that I’ve got to contribute. I feel like I could be doing more. But I’m not really sure whether I’m good enough. We also looked at her leadership skills and did some coaching around delegation and effective feedback conversations.
